Loft Milan I Milan I 2015 I 60sqm
In a courtyard in south Milan an independent house is transformed into a sophisticated and stylish loft, in spite of the modest dimensions/size.
With few works the bathroom has been enlarged and the small bedroom in the upper level has been transformed in a functional laundry room. The mezzanine level, overlooking the living room, becomes the central part of the house thanks to the new linear staircase in substitution of the old spiral one. The new stairs, placed close to the background wall, and the new essential white railing were tailor-made designed and realized. The floor covering is uniform in all rooms and gives continuity to the space: the neutral gray combined with the light tones of walls and finishes creates a harmonious basis where furniture and accessories stand out in color flashes. Eccentric and full of personality, vintage or contemporary, furniture and lights result from a wise and patient research: no details are left to chance. The effect is a comfortable and homey space in a charming and balanced mix.
