How do you renovate 1.000 sqm office space to create a modern office for a young user, while blending together the two different souls of the company: one all about fashion and fabrics and the other one more web-oriented and technological?
This was the question at the base of the competition won by MQA, organized by a famous Emilian company that handle all the web marketing of its own fashion lines.
The two souls are merged using an industrial style (raw wood panels and exposed beams) in contrast with their own fashion fabrics used as a furnishing element (panels on the walls as dividers, sound-absorbing elements and decorative coverings).
All meeting rooms are designed using the same fashion fabric theme for the furnishing elements, but each room has its own design and colors that are also matched with the colors of carpets, chairs and furniture.
The areas’ layout is oriented towards the smart working way, alternating open space working areas with quick meetings areas, free desks for team work with break areas, so that the working spaces are mixed up with common areas, easing collaboration and a constant flow of ideas and information.
