An apartment in the historical center of Pavia rediscovers its original appearance and a renewed glaze thanks to decisive design choices but respectful of the historical subject. Bound by the Superintendence for Architectural Heritage and Cultural preservation, as it is located in a historic downtown area with a significant medieval urbanism, it showed a remarkable state of degradation. The conservative restoration work brought to light the 'original appearance' of the rooms. Coffered wood ceilings, stairs with slabs of gneiss, exposed beams and exposed brick arches were elected as characteristic elements on which measure interventions and choices on finishes. In a mix of modern lines with an antique flavor.
Preliminary design, detailed design, construction permits.
